  • Just received iPad Pro 12’9 2020 today☸️☸️>JustU.Faith/iPadProo?貌   I had both iPad Pro 2018 and 2020. 2020 iPad pro super fast and the sound a lot better than 2018 pro.

  • lol watching in determining if it's a cheaper replacement of the new magic keyboard, and he's saying the same inconveniences that everyone is saying for the magic keyboard. smh no one will ever be happy. I believe the 'old' (2017 IPad Pro) is outdated and it definitely not the 'worse' keyboard of the two.

  • 2:28 What if you want to slide your iPad with the case on it across a table? Having a cover on the back will let you do that without scratching.

  • Can we use a case along with the keyboard ?

  • Great! Hey, do the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen iPad Pro 12.9 use the SAME Smart Keyboard? My 1st Gen iPad Pro 12.9 Smart Keyboard often disconnects. Apple replaced it once, bit they claim they don't sell that Smart keyboard anymore and I was wondering if they updated it for the 2017 2nd Gen ( and hopefully it works with the 1st Gen). Thanks!!

  • I noticed that on the back of the cellular version of the 2018 iPad Pro 11, Apple are not using an all-aluminium design like in the earlier model you showed (where you mentioned that the back has no scratches). On the back of the cellular version of the 2018 iPad Pro 11, there are two long inset pieces of black plastic at the top and bottom of the back of the unit, and these black plastic pieces pick up scratches very easily, even from the first day. I found that even rubbing these black plastic pieces with the back of my fingernail caused them to pick up a "shine" in that area, which stands out compared to its initial matt apearance. I consider this a design defect, and returned the item promptly to the manufacturer, as it's quite clear that on the secondary market, future buyers will be seeking items which look new, whereas with this design involving such easily-marred matt-black plastic, it's impractical for the first owner to preserve the initial appearance. Perhaps the reason Apple included the back cover in the design of their gen3 SKF is because of how easily these inset matt-black plastic pieces pick up such obvious "wear" . These black plastic insets also extend at six points all the way around the side to reach the front of the unit, causing six obvious irregularities in the otherwise uniform thin aluminum bezel surrounding the screen, making it less appealing in my opinion than a continuous uniform bezel. It's surprising that the unit itself doesn't come with a basic protector for the back of the device, which includes a camera lens which I would have thought many customers would end up scratching before they even realized that they needed to protect it. Do you know if there are any third party products which make use of the "smart connector" or if anyone has published the electrical specifications of the electronic interface that it uses?

  • I have two observations regarding my 11 Pro inch keyboard experience after about 6 months.

    1. In typing mode The position closest to the keyboard presents an issue for me because when I am reaching to type on the number row my tips of my fingers will sometimes touch the screen of the iPad which is a little annoying.

    2. As you stated in tablet mode the keys on the keyboard are flat against any surface you lay the device on. However, a semi-work around is I position the iPad as if I’m about to put it in typing mode but rather than placing the iPad in the grooves I lift the tablet forward and place it flat on the keyboard which hides all the keys above the home row.Perhaps Apple will consider designing their next cases to hide the keyboard keys completely. But, until then for me this will have to do.
