my issue is that it tennds to frezze every chance it gets ive singled it out to a ram issue ill have to by more at a later time

He's true.. i hate this laptop.. the anti dust cooling doesn't work properly, so the heat gets trapped inside.. and the whole stud frame came out..my screen wobbles like its going to break any second..i regret buying this laptop..i will give it the worsssstttt review…i'm so disappointed in this laptop. Although its a gaming laptop.. it doesn't take a good load..i've been using it for 6 months now..i'm already thinking to buy a new laptop, i used my last laptop for 5 solid years and it's still good.

I got this laptop as a gift for college. I WAS SO HYPE. glowing keyboard and it just cool af! five months in the hing on had a coniption fit and broke.. i had to pay to get it fixed bc it is NOT covered by warrenty…. which WHY?! why is it not covered….. any way it is broken again…
The hinge in this laptop is crap. It broke after few month of using it. Asus said that is not their fault.

Bought this laptop exactly 1 year ago, never had a bad experience with Asus before, a month ago the plastic side of the screen started to unglue and break apart, really annoying and there is nothing I can do. Never treated bad the laptop and it's only been a year, so no Asus for me again.

I’ve had it over a year and the only problem I’ve had with it is my graphics drivers became corrupt but I believe it is my fault.
It's so annoying when people complain about fan noise, it really isn't that bad if you put on headphones… And there always seems to be a negative video on every laptop.

This has to be the worse horseshit I have ever bought. And I bought 400 Euros Rebranded laptops a few times!!
First off, for someone that never had the chance to play on a * real, true * 120Hz Monitor 1080P+ (I only have a shitty 768P old LED TV), the quality is amazing. This if you have enouph battery or if it's plugged in to electricity.
The specs were amazing for the price, but there was a catch. Nobody fucking told me except the guy in the video once I saw it (but I'd already purchased it).
The cooling is fucking shit. Literally. I bought it for college due to the hardware to work with some heavy programs like Photoshop and Adobe Audition.
But, as soon as I turn the plug on, they have a fucking airplane engine immeadtly start working. Seriously. My colleagues have cheaper/ older PCs and the only PC you can hear it's literally mine.
Oh, and besides that, if i try to game on it, it suddenly remembers to just freeze. Like a black screen, totally irresponsive, even the keys and the heat exauster working like crazy.
It's really annoying because in my country it's a fortune I paid for it and because I don't even like laptops. My Gaming Desktop is enouph.
Oh, and besides that, just 5 minutes ago I had a BSOD! A fucking BSOD! Never had one before, and I've been on PCs since I had an old windows 98.
I don't recommend buying this PC or anything from this brand. Stay away from it like the Diable from the Cross.

So he complains about not getting performance you pay for but wont use the option that's allows you to use the max performance. This is a terrible review, how can you say the cooling isn't sufficient so they lower tdp but your using the cooling in a sup optimal operating range instead of max cooling

I've had no issues with my laptop
In defense of the negative review I ordered this laptop and it had overwhelming fan noise and actually one defective fan out the box also I had to reseat the casing by adjusting the 4 screws around the casing and it helped reduce noise from pressure issues. The laptop had strange coil whine that got worse when power plug was charging it.
2. A year later I have just bought the new updated version with 9300h cpu and Gtx 1650 and rgb keys and it seems they have addressed quality issues and fan noise is reduced highly recommend the newer product. Black Friday deal was only $579 11/29

I bought it and upgraded the ram. I'm gaming on it right now from an external HDD and you would be surprised with how many games it can run on high/medium high settings. I really don't get this review. You probably got a damaged laptop, it does happen.
