WTF, they scenes are fake. That's not Dhaka, that's India.Dhaka is beautiful than what it shows. Even they have distorted Bangladeshi culture and language in the movie. Those stupid villains can't talk in Bangla properly. They have also shown Bangladeshi police, army, RAB are corrupted and they help those mafia. LOOOOOOOOOLZ.

The movie was not shot in Bangladesh and the scenerio of Dhaka is totally away from actual Dhaka.

Greetings from Bangladesh.
I used to think what Mexican or Russian people think about Hollywood as they go and mock them with their movies.
Now I Can feel it.
First of all there are no drug empire in Bangladesh or its a cartel dictated country where law enforcements are for sale.
Secondly, no child terrorism exist.
Apart from Mr. Sam's (director) immersive motion capture everything you see in this movie dosnt make any sense.
They hired an indian production team which however dosnt know anything about us.
So they painted the picture most vulgarly way possible.
(Spoiler zone)
1. language ( Written or verbal ). (All the writings are wrong , spelling mistakes are everywhere ,no accent is close enough to Bangladeshi accent that's because all the cast are Indian)
2. Law enforcement uniform (Still most of the writings are wrong or with major spelling mistakes)
3. Public transports. ( Still writings are wrong, car plates are wrong, that Mercedes chris drove has a plate of 1985 Toyota starlet) (A bus named after our honorable prime minister).
Only these three things are used to resemble our city but as I mentioned they hired an indian production team also they shot the entire movie in a indian set where everything is being organized by Indians. The culture, way people behave , songs they listen, way they dress are mostly indian cultures.
The tremendous amount of mistakes done by indian production team , I guess the director or the foreign authority of the movie had no idea of their doing or they just left the job to Indians to please indian audience of Netflix willingly.
This movie is the perfect example of the worst representation of a particular culture or city.
Main protagonist couldn't speak his mother tongue properly because he is also indian.
Lets jump to the story, so Rake killed hundreds of police, RABs and Army's just to save one human being?
So those police had also family, right ? Ok maybe they are part of that corrupted organization and they are criminal as well ?
Are you listening… Its like making a movie where the 3 major force are criminals its also equal to calling a nation dictated by criminals.
Do someone has the right to portray such story where an independent nation can be portray as criminal operated nation? ???
We Bangladeshi were eagerly waiting for this movie and there was huge fan base of Chris and Russo's work.
And we are heart broken. It was like most anticipated action flick of this year and with such nonsense plot, weak set work done by Indians either willingly or out of ignorance and it was major disaster.
I hope Netflix would never do anything such sort.
