Quick demonstration of how to remove or replace the keyboard in a Dell Latitude E4300 laptop. You will need a small flathead screwdriver and a small Phillips screwdriver.
Make sure machine is fully powered off and battery is removed. Start by slowly removing the power button bezel, then the three screws holding keyboard down and then remove keyboard. Reverse the steps to install again!

Thank you for sharing this Thankss
you are my hero!
I was literally going to try and swap the individual keys out that are missing on my keyboard with the keys from a new one I just purchased because I assumed that it would be too difficult to replace the entire keyboard. It's the easiest keyboard swap I have ever seen! Thanks for the great video!!!!
i realy like this computer, and for a moment i thoug i had no solution with this k-board.. Now i see i can replace it.
Thank you. Precise and to the point. It really helped. Well done for sharing this.
Thanks a lot for this excellent video, that in a short time (2:23) yet very precisely shows, including on your phone since your laptop is NOT usable at that moment, everything you need to know when doing the replacement, and nothing useless.
For instance it shows where are the tiny screws to temporarily remove, and even more important, the places where you have to place your fingers and the direction toward which to pull strong enough without breaking anything. Including many things that otherwise you would sure guess but with more time and more risks of breaking something. THANKS!
BTW my keyboard was bought from eBay > samsungusbcable > https://www.ebluejay.com/Ads/item/5055181 price $28.47 +s/h (from US West Coast to France) $4.99 = $33.46, order placed Fri 21 jan 2016 07:19 GMT, parcel small yet sturdy, well protected and complete, received at my door in Versailles, France, on Fri 29 jan 2016 09:00, keyboard fits and works perfect, excellent quality, apparently a copy of Dell but even more carefully made than the Dell original, fits and works perfectly, very pleasant and efficient touch.
My Dell e4300 is a backup laptop yet heavily used, it had a FR AZERTY keyboard but since 1977 I have always worked on US keyboards (and US OSes, SDKs, apps, etc) so I can't bear the steep downgrade to FR keyboards. I wanted this NOT-LIT original version that carries the full concave keys (self-centering hence anti-error).

Thanks man easy
I swapped keyboards but the spacebar doesn't work.
Thank you very much.
Probably way too late to help you, but I experienced something similar when the cable didn't get pressed down entirely. I guess it could also happen if you damaged the cable somehow.
@Noli Valdez III let me see what I can find tomorrow when I get to the office. Not sure if I have another 4300 available or not. Are you trying to clean the fan or replace it?
